About Me

My photo
Amanda G. Barker
All my life I have considered myself a writer, now a photographer as well. Throughout college I found myself writing more and more about conservation issues. So, I started a wildlife conservation blog entitled Daily Pearl and a wildlife photography blog entitled WildEye. Following my graduation from Longwood University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a concentration in Rhetoric and Professional Writing, I decided to embark on a journey to share my thoughts and opinions through writing, and now photography as well. Ultimately, I would like my career path to lead in the direction of conservation writing and photography but I realize this needs to happen in stages. Therefore, my goal is to write and photograph what interests me, what causes I’m passionate about, and wildlife that catches my eye. Enjoy!
